Nefertari Boat Trip

Queen Nefertari boat is considered one of the most luxurious boats around Hurghada and the Red Sea. It is a symbol of both modernity and comfort compared to other boat tours in Hurghada.

Most boat tours in Hurghada that visit popular islands such as Orange Bay, Hula Hula, Paradise Island or the Giftun Islands are more focused on practicality than luxury. These tours usually offer two short snorkelling stops, about an hour each, and a stop at one of the islands to enjoy the beautiful waters of the Red Sea.
More luxurious trips, such as Mahmya, offer an extended stay at the island with more upscale lunch and buffet options, including foods, snacks and drinks. However, you usually spend more time on the island itself and less time enjoying the boat’s facilities, which are similar to standard boat tours from Hurghada.
Nefertari boat excels in luxury, offering a very spacious deck with comfortable seating, top-of-the-line foods and an open buffet lunch that includes a three-course meal featuring a selection of fresh grills, Egyptian cuisine, Italian cuisine, fresh salads, seafood dishes, unlimited fresh juices, hot and cold beverages, and much more.

What’s more, there is a stunning dining area on the lower deck where you can sit in comfort to enjoy your meal. The deck is Pharaoh-themed with a golden Tutankhamun throne, and guests are also offered the opportunity to dress up as a pharaoh or queen for special photo opportunities.
Additionally, there is a special air-conditioned observation deck where you can sit and enjoy the view of amazing Red Sea corals without getting wet. This is a unique opportunity for both children and adults to admire the vibrant fish and corals that can only be seen in the Red Sea.
The Boat Tour
Queen Nefertari can be boarded from two locations around the Red Sea. The first serves the greater Hurghada area, including Makadi Bay, El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh and Soma Bay, starting from Xanadu Makadi Bay Marina.
The second boat can be boarded from Port Ghalib Marina and serves hotels around Marsa Alam.
Both boats offer similar amenities and generally run the same programme, with the only exception being the reef sites they visit. The boat docked at Xanadu Makadi Bay Marina cruises to Abu Hashish Island, which is packed with coral reefs and vibrant corals. This island is unique to this boat trip, as no other boats visit it.

For the Nefertari boat docked at Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam, there is a 15-minute cruise to Marsa Mubarak, one of the most vibrant reef sites in the region. The highlight of this tour is the opportunity to see sea turtles, rays, and, if you are lucky, even a dugong (sea cow).

Both boats include snorkelling stops at the reef sites for up to 45 minutes, with the option to rent snorkelling gear, including a mask and fins, to explore the stunning marine life around the reefs.

At the end of the day, the boat cruises back to the marina, where you board a transfer to return to your hotel.
